It was a surprise to me that many people voted Super Mono 3D in the free giveaway contest we launched a few days ago. The free icon set included only half of the original Super Mono Icons. Here the other half is released. This updated the Super Mono 3D icon set in to a bigger set which includes 192 icons in simple 3D style. As usual, the icons are free under our free icon license agreement. Feel free to share this to your friends and fellow designers.

Free Icons: Super Mono 3D

Super Mono is one of our most popular free icon collections. Here we are pleased to release this 3D style icon set based this simple and elegant design which includes 96 raster icons in 64px and 128px PNG format. As usual, this icon set is downloadable for free under CC 3.0 attribution license. An other batch is coming soon and so is the vector version.

Below you can find a full preview of the icon set. We are now provide the icons in blue. If you require this icon set in different colours, you can let us know your colour code (e.g. #003366), we can customise them for you for only £10.00 (you can do that by purchasing a standard license).

iPhone 4 Mini Icons

Here we are pleased to introduce this nice icon set named iPhone 4 Mini Icons. The set is in a cute 3D style and includes 40 standard iPhone icons in different sizes (from 64 pixels to high resolution 512 pixels) and in both black and white colour schemes. Also vector source files (Adobe Illustrator CS4 version) are included in the download pack.

The icons and are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license and can be download for free for personal and commercial use. If you can’t or don’t want to provide a link back, please contact us for a royalty-free license. However, resell and redistribution in the form like integration in themes, applications are not allowed. If you need the icons in your theme or app development, please contact us for extended license.

A Collection of Beautiful 3D Icon Designs

Double-J Design is focusing on designing stock icons and custom icons for web or desktop applications, printing projects, etc. Also at Double-J Design, you can find loads of free icon sets available for download. Besides doing designs, Double-J Design also reviews a large number icon designs and web/desktop GUI design everyday. Therefore, we write about design tutorials, design ideas and nice collection of good designs. Today we picked up about a number of sets of very nice 3D icon designs which might be useful in the stage of styling or inspiration in your design procedures. Some of them have been featured in a number of design blogs but here what we picked up are all about 3D designs. To me, a good 3D icon set design is all about the consistency of style or perspective. I have discussed some issues in some icon design forum about 3D icon design like what tools they normally use to design 3D icons, how to keep the same style within one set. I would like to hear some feedback or comment on these issues here as well.
